Italian is the official language of the Congress. Foreign speakers will however hold a speech in English language. Presenters are strongly encouraged to prepare their slides in English to ensure non-Italian speakers are able to follow their presentation.
The schedule of oral presentations will be defined by the Scientific Committee and published in the final program.
Presenters will have 10 minutes to present their material, followed by 2 min of Q&A.
When preparing slides, Authors must keep in mind the 10 min time slot reserved for their oral presentation. Session chairs will ensure the timetable is respected.
Authors will be able to upload their presentation at the dedicated workstation from 8:00 to 8:45 am and during coffee brakes, lunch and poster sessions of the day preceding their presentation. Authors presenting during the first oral session, held at 9:45 am on 5 October 2017, must upload their presentation at anytime by the evening of the preceding day.
Presentations scheduled for the poster session on Thursday, 5 October 2017, must be placed before 14:00 and removed before 12:00 of the following day. For presentations taking place on Friday, posters must be placed from 12:00 to 14:00 on Friday and removed on Saturday, before 13:00. must be I poster presentati Giovedì devono essere posizionati entro le 14:00 di Giovedì e rimossi entro le ore 12:00 di Venerdì. Poster preparation guidelines
Posters must be clear and readable at a rough distance of 2 m. The name of the presenting author must be underlined. Posters should be prepared using English language, ensuring foreign attendees can understand the material presented.
When preparing posters, Authors should consider using the following structure: Title, name and affiliation of all Authors, e-mail of the corresponding Author, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and References. Posters should be as clear and concise as possible. Whenever possible, Results should be presented graphically. Any subjects appearing in pictures included in the Poster must be made unrecognisable.
The maximal size of posters is: 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height).
Authors are welcome to distribute print copies of posters to participants.
